WELCOME TO L.D. ARTS COLLEGE
The college was set up in 1937, over a decade before Independence, with a view to inculcate the spirit of Indian culture and academics in students at a time when receiving a British education was stressed upon. SardarVallabhbhai Patel along with Ganesh Mavlankar and KasturbhaiLalbhai played a key role in setting up L D Arts as one of the first grant-in-aid colleges in the city.
